Overview
The annual Sundance Film Festival, held each January in Park
City, Utah, is widely recognized as the premier showcase for
American and international independent film. Inclusive and
eclectic in its programming approach, the festival has grown
to include film culture events, panel discussions, youth programs,
online exhibition, and live music. Attended by more than 45,000
people from around the world each year and with an online audience
exceeding 1,000,000 users, the Sundance Film Festival creates
a vibrant, unique community of artists and audiences that extends
well beyond the mountains of Park City, Utah.
 INDIVIDUAL TICKETS
In order to purchase individual tickets
in advance for the 2008 Sundance Film Festival, you must first
register online anytime between 9:00 a.m. MT on November 26th
and 5:00 p.m. MT on December 19th. Registration is free! You
may only register once, and dates/times will be randomly assigned
by a computer. You may only register once for individual tickets.
If you attempt to register more than once, you run the risk
of having your registration cancelled. No name changes will
be accepted once registration is complete.
Shuttles & Parking
Festival Shuttle Buses
Free Festival shuttle buses stop frequently
at every Festival theatre, venue, and most accommodations. Buses
operate daily from 6:10 a.m. to 2:30 a.m. The last bus leaves Old
Town Transit Center at 2:20 a.m. and the top of Main Street at 2:30
a.m. Plan trips between venues using the routes and times listed
on the transit map.
Park City Transit
To meet increased visitor demand during the Festival,
Park City's regular free citywide public transit system is enhanced
with additional bus service. For dining out, shopping, or hitting
the slopes, Park City Transit buses are the way to go. Transit
maps are available on transit buses, at the Old Town Transit
Center, the Park City Public Works building, and online at www.parkcity.org.
